Once matched, a binding rental contract is generated automatically. The renter's payment goes into escrow, the owner books the reservation through Disney, and funds are released once the booking is confirmed. It's simple, transparent, and fully protected.

When you purchase a DVC contract, you buy at a specific "home resort." This gives you the exclusive ability to book reservations at that resort starting 11 months before your check-in date. Non-home resort members can only book starting at 7 months out.

This 4-month head start is incredibly valuable — especially at high-demand resorts like the Riviera, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, where availability often disappears within the 11-month window.

When a renter commits to a listing, their payment is processed and held securely by a third-party licensed escrow agent — not sent directly to the owner, and not held by DVCSafePay.com. The funds remain in escrow while the owner books the reservation with Disney.

Once the reservation is confirmed and both parties are satisfied, the escrow agent releases funds directly to the owner. If the booking cannot be completed for any reason, the renter receives a full refund from the escrow agent.

DVCSafePay.com charges no per-deal platform fee. Our only fee is a $79/year annual membership (Founding Member rate — 15 months for the price of 12). Sellers keep 100% of the deal value.

There are no listing fees, no transaction commissions, and no hidden charges. Renters pay the listed price — nothing more. Your membership covers access to the marketplace, contract generation, and customer support.

Yes. Every payment is held by a third-party licensed escrow agent until the reservation is confirmed by Disney. Your money is never sent directly to the owner before a booking is verified, and DVCSafePay.com never holds your funds.

Additionally, every transaction is backed by a binding rental contract that spells out exactly what both parties are agreeing to — the resort, dates, room type, number of points, and price. If anything falls through, the escrow agent ensures you get your money back.

Getting started is easy:

1. Create a free account and verify your DVC membership by providing your membership details.
2. Go to your dashboard and create a new listing. Select your home resort, the number of points you want to rent, your use year, and your price per point.
3. Your listing goes live immediately and is visible to all renters browsing that resort.

When a renter is matched with your listing, you'll receive a notification. Review the terms, sign the contract, book the reservation with Disney, and get paid through escrow.

If you're unable to complete the reservation for any reason — availability changed, points expired, or any other issue — the third-party escrow agent issues a full refund to the renter. No money changes hands unless the booking is successfully confirmed.

No. Anyone can rent DVC points through our platform. You don't need to own a DVC contract to book a stay at a DVC resort. The owner uses their points and membership to book the reservation on your behalf — you simply enjoy the vacation.
